Reading Rally
Welcome to the 2026 Reading Rally
A longstanding school tradition, the Reading Rally is the largest fundraiser for the Providence Scholarship Fund, providing tuition assistance so that more like-hearted families may be part of the School. Students in Classes One through Eight participate. Below are some important dates and documents to help you and your children have a fun and successful Reading Rally.
Theme
2026 Theme: Tall Tales of Texas – Celebrate Texas heritage and history through books that highlight Texas heroes, Texas places, and Texas legends.
Participation
Participation is required for all students in Classes One through Six and strongly encouraged for Classes Seven and Eight.
Key Dates
- Reading Rally Rookie Parents Meeting: Monday, January 12 – In-person at 8:30 a.m. (preferred) or on Zoom at 7:30 p.m.
- Collect Pledges: January 9 – February 8
- Pledges Due: February 20
- Log Reading Rally minutes: Thursday, January 15, at 6:30 a.m. until Sunday, February 8, at 10:00 p.m.
