Wednesday, October 9 is the Little Patriots Breakfast at 7:00 a.m. in the Gym. Athletes and Little Patriots will meet and enjoy breakfast.
- On Friday, October 11, we will have a combined Chapel at 8:05 a.m. for both lower and middle school. All students will be dismissed at noon.
- We will not have school on Monday, October 14.
- On Wednesday, October 16, from 8:00 to 8:55 a.m., in the Small Chapel, we will host a Providence Parent Coffee. Tag Green, Jeff Hendricks, and Ashley Sambrano will be on hand to answer any questions about the curriculum, what your child can expect in the next grade level, or anything else.

Inside Middle School - Classes Three and Four parents, please join us on Tuesday, October 22, at 7:45 a.m. in the Great Hall and get an early look at what is in store for your child during middle school at Providence. Learn about the leadership opportunities, athletics, extracurricular activities, and electives unique to our middle school. A panel of alumni parents and students will share how the middle school prepared them for high school and beyond. Our morning will end with the opportunity to visit multiple classes in session.

Thursday, October 10, from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. (gates open at 5:00 p.m.)
Football, food trucks from Jose and Dallas Grilled Cheese Company, a no homework night, concession stands, bounce houses, and a performance by the Pom Squad are just a few of the reasons you should join us for Homecoming. Patriots football will take on Colleyville Covenant. Shuttles will run from the Junior League parking lot from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. Homecoming is a Spirit Dress Day for lower and middle school students.

Preparing Children for Adulthood

Author, Dr. Ken Wilgus, will outline a roadmap for parents guiding children along the journey to adulthood. Dr. Wilgus’ book, Feeding the Mouth That Bites You, is a valuable resource for parents as they work to prepare teenagers for independence.
SPIRIT DAY APPAREL GUIDELINES
Boys
- Pants: denim jeans or khaki pants no frayed, ripped, torn, patched, or sagging pants—no sweat pants
- Shorts: walking/cargo shorts; no athletic shorts
- Shirts: Providence or solid-colored polo or T-shirt in Providence colors
- Shoes: closed-toe and closed-heel footwear (for P.E., bring or wear lace-up tennis shoes with no black-marking soles). No caps or hats
- Regular school uniform, if desired
Girls
- Pants: solid-colored denim jeans or skinny jeans with a long, un-tucked shirt which covers the buttocks; no leggings or jeggings allowed. No frayed, ripped, torn, patched, or sagging jeans allowed
- Shorts: “fingertip length” shorts (no athletic shorts)
- Shirts: Providence or solid-colored polo or T-shirt in Providence colors
