  • Winter Sports commitment forms (here) are due Friday, September 30 for Classes Six through Eight athletes.
     
  • Friday, September 30 at 8:00 a.m. and 8:55 a.m.: Class Eight boys lead Chapel. Topic: “What is Justification?”
    • For all student-led Chapel services, please make sure your child’s uniform is in order, with pants at the proper length; and shirts and jackets that are clean and well-fitting, and skirts no higher than three inches above the knee; pants at the proper length; and shirts and jackets that are clean and well-fitting.
    • Please park in the back lanes of carpool. Seats will be reserved in the first two rows.
       
  • Yearbook Pictures begin Monday, October 3. Please see the schedule and uniform requirements below.
     
  • Homecoming: Thursday, October 6, at 5:00 P.M. Patriots Football vs. Good Shepherd
    Enjoy fun, food trucks, football, and a 'no homework' evening. Parking shuttle will run from the south lot of the Junior League (8003 Inwood Rd.) from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 6 is a spirit wear dress day for Lower School and Middle School students. 
     
  • Friday, October 7: Noon dismissal for PK-Class Eight
     
  • Monday, October 10: No school
     
  • An Evening with Justin Earley, Saturday, October 15 at 5:00 p.m.:  Due to an overwhelming response, this event is currently full. Any registrations moving forward will be added to our waitlist. We will contact you if a space becomes available. If you are still interested in attending, please click here to be added to our waitlist. If your plans have changed, please notify us by email. 
     
  • Parent Coffee with the Board and Administration: Thursday, October 13, 8:00 a.m. (Small Chapel)  
    Join us for an informal coffee and Q&A with members of the Board, administration, and others. Ask any questions you have about what your child is learning, athletics, or anything else at Providence.
     
  • Science Club Registration Open for Classes Two through Five 
    Students in Classes Two through Five are invited to be part of Science Club, which meets from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m. on Tuesdays, October 18 through November 15. Rob and Julie Conatser will lead hands-on activities around the theme, Don't Believe Your Eyes! The club fee of $150 is due in full on Friday, October 7. Please download the registration form (here) and turn it in with your payment at the front desk. Space is limited.

Fathers and mothers of children at all life stages, please join us as we hear from licensed psychologist, Dr. Cristina Sevadjian from Sparrow House. Dr. Sevadjian will discuss how parents can guide their children through their social and emotional development and help them as they encounter stress, lack of motivation, and social challenges with friends and classmates.

Bible Reading Plan

Each day, our students begin with daily Bible reading. Classes 1-6 have a structured reading plan which we encourage you to read with your child prior to the start of the school day.

Typing Pal (Classes 4-8)

Providence students in Classes 4-8 have access to Typing Pal Online, a web-based keyboarding program. In some of the upper grade levels, students are asked to submit typed assignments. This course is a great training tool to prepare them. Questions? Contact Tim Ricchuiti.
