2025-2026 Applications

Thank you for prayerfully considering Providence for your child and family. Many families have already met our first admission deadline of December 10, 2024, by completing Steps 1 and 2 of our application. Applications received after the due date will be moved to our late applicant pool. Late applicants will be attended to after all other applicants have been processed, as long as there is availability in the grade in which you are applying.

We use a third-party organization called Veracross for our application process. To apply, please click the button below and enter your email address. If your email address is already in our system, you will be able to access the Admission Portal and apply. If your email is not in our system, you will be prompted to provide us with information before accessing the application.

Virtue

It is a word not commonly used in education today, but it is one you will hear frequently at Providence Christian School. Providence is committed to promoting the innocence of childhood while also preparing its older students for their further education in a world increasingly hostile to Christian faith and virtue.

For more than 30 years, Providence has prepared academically able students from prekindergarten through eighth grade to live purposefully and intelligently in the service of God and man. Our accomplished faculty, small student-teacher ratio, and classical instructional methods and curricula allow us to help students to form the habits, intellect, and character necessary to live purposefully and intelligently in the service of God and man.

PREKINDERGARTEN

September 15 – Applications open to prospective families and families with siblings of current Providence students. To begin the application, a fee of $150 must first be paid.
December 10 — Applications due. Please include the following:
- Online application
- Family photo
- Pastor recommendation form
- Copy of certified birth certificate
January 15 — Teacher evaluation form due, if available.
January 25 — Testing and Observation Day for all applicants
- Applicants are to be observed (not tested) in a classroom setting, by Providence faculty members
January 30 — Tuition adjustment application link sent.
January 27 to February 21 — Parent interviews conducted with those who receive an invitation. All invitations will be sent by January 31.
- Both parents are interviewed by the Admission Committee.
- In the case of divorce, all parents who are involved directly or indirectly in raising the child are interviewed.
March 7 — Admission decisions delivered.
March 21 — Enrollment decisions due from new applicants.

KINDERGARTEN AND KINDERGARTEN SUMMER BIRTHDAY

  - Testing is scheduled directly with CATS by visiting www.catstexas.com.
  - The test results are sent directly to the School.
January 25 — Testing and Observation Day for all applicants.
- Applicants are to be tested and observed in a classroom setting by Providence faculty members.

MIDDLE SCHOOL (GRADES 5-8)

- ISEE Test Scores
  - Fifth through eighth grade applicants are to submit test scores administered by ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam).
  - Testing is scheduled directly with ISEE by visiting https://www.erblearn.org/families/isee-by-erb/.
  - The test results are sent directly to the School.
January 25 — Testing and Observation Day for all applicants.
- Applicants are to be tested and observed in a classroom setting by Providence faculty members.

January 30 — Tuition adjustment application link sent.

January 27 to February 21 — Parent interviews conducted with those who receive an invitation. All invitations will be sent by January 31.
- Both parents are interviewed by the Admission Committee.

February 1 to February 28 — Middle School Visit
- Students applying to Middle School are required to visit the campus for a day during the admissions process.
- The School will contact you to schedule the visit.
March 7 — Admission decisions delivered.

March 21 — Enrollment decisions due from new applicants.

LATE APPLICANTS

Applications and test scores received after the respective due dates will be moved to our late applicant pool. Late applicants will receive an invitation to parent interviews after all other interviews have been completed and will be sent admission decisions after all other applicants. Please make every effort to be on time submitting your application and test scores.

Our strict birthdate policy has been informed by many years of cultivating cohesive and flourishing grades of students. Exceptions to this policy are very rare and only made when Providence determines it is in the best interest of the child.
