The School of Logic, grades five through eight, contains a curriculum which is responsive, rather than reactive, to the natural tendency to question in the middle years of education. Students in these middle years are developmentally aware that they are physically changing. Many of the assumptions that they had about their physical person and emotional self are changing. Consequently, they begin to question the veracity of things around them. The curriculum at Providence seeks to respond to these questions and engage students in conversation about knowledge and verification. |
