Education in the Middle School at Providence aims at wisdom and equips students to live purposefully and intelligently as agents of restoration in God’s kingdom. Our students are inspired to take ownership of their education as their intellectual curiosity is stimulated and their faith is rooted through exploration of great ideas and texts from a biblical worldview. The curriculum is traditional and intellectually vigorous, preparing students for work at highly selective private high schools. Through meaningful opportunities to present, organize, create, and guide, students develop as leaders. A vibrant middle school faculty of thoughtful and caring teachers set the tone with their passion for Jesus Christ, their love for their fellow man, and their energy and enthusiasm for their subject matter.

Based on great ideas and great books, including primary sources when possible, the curriculum is designed to help students know, love, and practice that which is true, good, and excellent. Our program features:

  • Art and music classes for all students
  • Literature chosen for its rich presentation of timeless truths
