Athletic Department

Fall Season:

  • Assistant Cross Country Coach: Start Date: 08/12/2020 – We are currently looking for a middle school boys’ and girls’ assistant cross country coach. The hours for coaching are from 1:40 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The candidate must be a mature believer who enjoys coaching, mentoring, and teaching students ages ten to fourteen. In addition, the candidate must be able to articulate how his/her faith will be a part of leading and coaching athletes. Ideally, the candidate would have some experience coaching cross country but must have basic knowledge and skills in running distance. Cross country meets are on Thursdays and Saturdays. The stipend is $2,700.00 for coaching August to October.

Winter Season:

  • Assistant Girls’ Basketball Coach: Start Date: 10/19/20- We are currently looking for a middle school girls’ assistant basketball coach for the winter season (October to February). The hours for coaching are from 1:40 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Monday through Friday. Games are on Mondays and Thursdays at 4:30 p.m. or 5:30 p.m. The candidate must be a mature believer who enjoys coaching, mentoring, and teaching students ages ten to fourteen. In addition, the candidate must be able to articulate how his/her faith will be a part of leading and coaching athletes. Ideally, the candidate would have some experience coaching basketball but must have basic knowledge of the game. The position pays $2,700.00.
  • Head Girls’ Basketball Coach: Start Date: 10/19/20 – We are currently looking for a middle school girls’ head basketball coach for the winter season (October to February). The hours for coaching are from 1:40 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.  Monday through Friday. Games are on Mondays and Thursdays usually at 5:30 p.m. The candidate must be a mature believer who enjoys coaching, mentoring, and teaching students ages ten to fourteen. In addition, the candidate must be able to articulate how his/her faith will be a part of leading and coaching athletes. The candidate must also know how to organize and run a practice, be able to develop and implement game strategy, and have some administrative skills. The position pays $3,200.00.
  • Assistant Boys’ Soccer Coach: Start Date 10/19/20 – We are currently looking for a middle school boys’ assistant soccer coach for the winter season (October to February). The hours for coaching are from 1:40 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.  Monday through Friday. Games are on Mondays and Thursdays usually at 5:30 p.m. The candidate must be a mature believer who enjoys coaching, mentoring, and teaching students ages ten to fourteen. In addition, the candidate must be able to articulate how his/her faith will be a part of leading and coaching athletes. Ideally, the candidate would have some experience coaching soccer but must have basic knowledge of the game. The position pays $2,700.00.

Spring Season:

  • Head Tennis Coach: Start Date 02/15/21 – We are currently looking for a middle school coed head tennis coach for the spring season 2021 (February to April). The hours for coaching are from 1:40 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.  Monday through Friday. Matches are on Mondays or Thursdays usually at 4:30 p.m. or 5:30 p.m. The candidate must be a mature believer who enjoys coaching, mentoring, and teaching students ages ten to fourteen. In addition, the candidate must be able to articulate how his/her faith will be a part of leading and coaching athletes. The candidate must also know how to organize and run a practice, be able to develop and implement game strategy, and have some administrative skills. The position pays $3,200.00.

In addition, the candidate must be able to articulate how his/her faith will be a part of leading and coaching athletes. Ideally, the candidate would have some experience coaching track but must have basic knowledge and skills in track events. Track meets are on Thursdays and Fridays. The stipend is $2,700.00 for coaching February to April.

Administration Opportunities

  • Head of Lower School (2021-2022):
    • The Head of Lower School will oversee the daily operations of PK through Class Four and will provide Christ-like leadership, supervision, and spiritual guidance to the teaching staff, students, and school community. The Head of Lower School will work alongside the Headmaster and school staff to provide the unique high-quality delivery of a classical, Christian education for the students and partner with parents in the spiritual development of the whole student. This position requires strong leadership and oversight to help shape the school and guide it in accomplishing the overall mission.

Lower School (PK through Class Four)

  • Music Teacher:
    • The Lower School Music Teacher must believe that every person is commanded by God to sing, and has been created by Him with the ability to do so.  The belief that all children can sing and can be taught to improve their singing abilities is essential.  Students are taught general music skills and appreciation with an emphasis on singing in a choral setting. Applicants are expected to have experience in teaching young children to sing in a healthy, beautiful, and age-appropriate manner and be strongly committed to this practice. Applicants need knowledge of the means and literature to accomplish this. Orff and Kodaly training is preferred.
