Ben Bell

Mr. Bell and his wife, Janie, are Providence alumni parents who live in University Park and are members of Highland Park Presbyterian Church.  They have four children who all attended Providence.  Ben has a BS in Engineering from Vanderbilt and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  He is Managing Member of William K. Woodruff & Company, LLC.   Ben served as a previous Providence Board Member from 2001 to 2008.

Billy Diehl

Mr. Diehl and his wife, Katherine, are Providence parents who live in University Park and attend Watermark Community Church. They have three children all of whom attend Providence. Mr. Diehl received a B.S. in engineering and a B.A. in Math from Vanderbilt University. He also received an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Diehl in a senior vice-president for UBS which deals with private wealth management.

Brian Heflin

Mr. Heflin and his wife, Cammie, are Providence parents who live in University Park and are members of Park Cities Baptist Church. He holds a BBA in Finance and a Masters of Business Administration from Texas Tech University. Mr. Heflin is the Chief Operating Officer of Plains Capital Bank. His areas of expertise include finance and administration.

Syd Hurley

Mr. Hurley and his wife, Elizabeth, are Providence parents who live in Highland Park and are members of Watermark Community Church.  He received a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and a law degree from Southern Methodist University.  Mr. Hurley owns Vista Property Company, which specializes in shopping center investment and development.  Mr. Hurley has been active in the real estate industry for more than thirty years.

Stephen Key

Mr. Key and his wife, Ann, are Providence parents and live in Preston Hollow.  They are members of Watermark Community Church and serve in the marriage ministry.  Mr. Key received a BS in business from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and his JD from Southern Methodist University.  He is a partner in Key Harrington Barnes PC, a management side labor and employment law firm.

Chris Messick

Mr . Messick and his wife, Meredith, are Providence parents who live in Preston Hollow and attend Providence Presbyterian Church. Chris is a wealth management advisor with Northwestern Mutual’s Wealth Management Company. He holds a business degree from Texas A&M University, and his areas of expertise are financial planning and investment management.

Dan Meyer

Mr. Meyer and his wife, Kate, are Providence parents who live in Preston Hollow and are members of Watermark Community Church. He holds a BS in Finance from Illinois State University. Mr. Meyer is a Vice President with Hunt Consolidated Energy. His areas of expertise are finance, administration, board governance, and human capital.

Grant Moise

Mr. Moise and his wife, Katie, are Providence parents. They live in Preston Hollow and attend Highland Park United Methodist Church.  Mr. Moise received an MBA from Texas Christian University, and a BA from the University of Kansas.  He is the President of DMN Media, which is a media and marketing solutions company owned by A.H. Belo.  His areas of expertise include marketing strategy, digital media, and mergers and acquisitions.

Robin Pou

Mr. Pou and his wife, Karen, are Providence parents who live in University Park and are members of Highland Park Presbyterian Church. He received a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and a law degree from Southern Methodist University. Mr. Pou owns his own firm. He is an attorney mediator and executive coach. His areas of expertise include executive development, strategic planning, negotiation and conflict resolution.

Julie and Dan Rhodes

Mr. and Mrs. Rhodes are the Parents’ Council Chairs for the 2016-2017 school year and have been in the role of Providence parents for the last seven years. They live in University Park and are members of Highland Park United Methodist Church and attend Community Bible Study. Mrs. Rhodes is a busy wife and homemaker, raising four daughters, all of whom currently attend Providence in grades K, 4th, 6th, and 8th. She received her BA degree in Psychology, with a minor in Spanish, from Randolph Macon Woman’s College in Lynchburg, VA. Mr. Rhodes is a member of The Rhodes Group at Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate. He received his BAC degree in Economics and French from Washington & Lee University and his MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Rhodes also holds a Grand Diplôme from EM Lyon Business School in Lyon, France.

Debby Smith

Mrs. Smith and her husband, Brad, are Providence alumni parents. They live in University Park and attend Watermark Community Church. Mrs. Smith holds an AB in Sociology from Princeton University, an MBA from SMU (with a concentration in non-profits), and MABS from Dallas Theological Seminary. Before having children, Mrs. Smith worked with Russian school administrators on moral curriculum; was an adjunct professor of Business at Dallas Baptist University; and a business administrator at the Leadership Center of DTS. Her main areas of expertise are administration and education.

Kelsie Wagner

Mrs. Wagner and her husband, Price, are Providence parents who live in University Park and attend Providence Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Wagner is a homemaker with a BA in History from the University of Texas at Austin. The Wagners served as Parents’ Council chairs for the 2010-2011 school year. Before having children, Mrs. Wagner worked as a corporate event planner for a destination management company as well as the Dallas Bar Association.

Michele Young

Mrs. Young and her husband, Greg, are Providence alumni parents who live in University Park and attend Park Cities Baptist Church. Mrs. Young received a BS in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University. The Youngs chaired the Parents’ Council during the 2011-2012 school year. Before having children, Mrs. Young worked in engineering sales and also taught school in both public and private Christian education.
